My New Toy

Just before the Christmas Holiday, I went out and spent a lot of money on the Numark CdN 88 Mp3 player. Being that I like to Dj in a lot of parties, I needed a set of my own and starting with the Numark was a good idea. I've used previous versions that my godfather owns and it works perfectly and always gets the job done. It was imperative that I go get one of my own, now I get to practice a lot more and I have my own equipment for small parties that my godfather can't attend. :-)

G-Shock

I was going through my Antenna magazine and I found this G-Shock. I must say I think I'm putting it on my X-mas list I'm liking this one a lot.

I was looking on Barneys.com and I came across this Marc by Marc Jacobs cardigan and I had to post it. This cardigan is just so nice!!! I think I may treat myself to a nice Christmas gift and buy this for myself.

Weekend Events

So tomorrow night I'm supposed to be Dj-ing in a Sesame Flyers party... I don't know anything about this party yet except a lot of people is supposed to be there.. Pics and more information would be posted, as they come!!!

Friday the 13th

Uggh man this day was just crappy. Bad weather, boring day at school. I so did not want to go to school today but I had a Math test today and was upset because it wasn't today it turned into a take-home test. Smh. Well the weekend is here.

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day and I want to do exactly what I do on every other day I have off from school, sit in my bed or walk around the house. I absolutely have no plans to do anything else. I think I'm just going to go watch Tv and catch up on some CSI episodes.

I Invented Sex...

At first I didn't really like this song. My friends in school always sang it and I still didn't like it. I had it burned in my CD case and everything so I played it in a party and I saw how the crowd reacted to this song and it was amazing. After listening to the song a couple more times I really enjoy this song now!!!

DJ Dee

So I'd like to say that I'm a DJ now. Friday 10/16/09 I participated in Prospect Highschool's "Battle of the DJ's" party and it went pretty well. I'm a little upset that I was so busy DJ-ing all night that I wasn't able to snap photos, or ask people to snap photos, but there would be more parties. This competition was a very good one, and my competitor was very experienced, but I think I did a better job at selecting music to keep the crowd. At the end of the day, the main objective of the party was to keep the crowd at your DJ booth all night, and I think I did a very good job at that.

I'm Happy I walked away with a win.

My Blackberry Investment..

For a while now I've wanted a Blackberry but I never found it to fit me. I found that I'm growing up and phones like sidekicks are too childish for me so I got a G1 the G1 is a wonderful phone I must say but its 3g capabilities drains its battery. So I did a lot of research and I've decided that the Blackberry Curve 8900 is a very nice phone. Even though it doesn't have 3g its has a stellar battery and its features are very robust. I think I can handle this phone for the months or years to come!!!!

Summer 09' Baby!!!!

L.A. Vacay!!!!

Sooo I don't ever really go away from New York but when I do I definitely like to have fun. My most recent trip was to L.A. At first when my mother told me we were going to L.A. I wasn't to fond about this, I thought it would be boring. My sister kept bragging about that's where all the stars live like I didn't already know that, but after staying in Brooklyn for so long you don't want to go anywhere because you know you would become homesick so quick. Well that wasn't really the case until I thought about the things I have back in Brooklyn to do..

L.A. was so much fun from the pic that I got with Fonzworth Bentley to relaxing in Disney Land taking pics like Bob Marley or somebody!!!

If you've never been to L.A. I strongly suggest that you take the time out to go visit. There is so much things to do, I doubt you'll be bored.

My First Party..

So for months I've been trying the Dj thing and I've been playing in some parties getting experience you know, the usual. My cousin Jr. and I Dj and well we've been dying to have our own party. So one day we sat down and we spoke about it and we came up with the decision to throw a Reggae vs. Soca party, since thats what we both enjoy playing.. So the planning began. Called up my uncle and said Clyde we need the backyard for a party. He said ok come to find out that he no longer has rights to the backyard and this is all happening way to close to party time which is scheduled for August 7th 2009. We even made flyers with the wrong address on it so we had to inform everyone 1-by-1 on the new location. So there is too much details to get into about this party but we finally got a spot. A basement on lenox between 51st and 52nd street over here in brooklyn and we just hope the party goes well....

T.I.'s Snitch

T.I. has finally found out who his snitch is. One of his former friends "Alphamega." It turns out that "Alphamega" wanted to clear his rap sheet after being convicted of weapons charges a year ago so he turned to cooperating with the police to snitch on T.I. Smh

G1 update baby

I must say for months now rumors of the T-mobile G1 "Cupcake" update will be coming out. Finally all the rumors are done. T-mobile is going to roll out the "Cupcake" update on May 13th.

I love my G1 I do everything socially possible with my phone...If you don't have one, you might consider getting one.

I think the 2009 N.B.A. Playoffs has the most action this year. From the little punches thrown to the aggressiveness at both ends of the floor.. Many teams like the Celtics and Cavs have been putting their all into the playoffs. Lets not forget the Nuggets....
Anyways I think the Cavaliers are going to take it all the way...

Weekend Fun parties!!!

So my weekend was actually ok.. Nah not ok, my weekend was fun!!!. My cousin and I dj'ed in another party making it the second party we did and it was pretty good. At first I was nervous as hell. Walked up in Step Too Cafe to do the Soca Vs. Reggae party and panicked. Started seeing the amount of people around and said to myself nah I'm about to flunk. Some of my sisters homeboys who put me on to do the party was like "yo D relax half of dem drunk out they a**." So me and my cousin posted up with our music ready to go...We got on put a lil hip-hop soca and reggae on in about 20 mins and I must say for two teenagers coming up in the game we had a crowd of 18 year olds and over jammin.... We did DAMN GOOD...

Sources are told that Chris Brown and Rihanna won't perform at tonight's Grammy Awards because of Chris Browns Domestic Violence, Felony Battery Charge. Sources say that in the back of a Limo after leaving a party, Chris Brown hit Rihanna and she pressed charges on her "Boyfriend." Chris Brown whereabouts are unknown and he has until 12 a.m to turn himself into the L.A.P.D. WoW!!!!!



On the Grammy's side of things Chris Brown will be replaced by another performer as well as Rihanna herself. Performers are said to be Justin Timberlake and Boys II Men.

I'm really upset that Chris and Rihanna were supposed to perform at tonight's Grammy's and now their not.

I'm definitely going to stay on top of this, I would love to know what really happened.

I don't know about you but I definitely will be tuning in to see what its like for T.I. to do his community service hours after buying guns from federal agents...

Inauguration!!!! 2009

I mean the election to me was a drastic part in history for me.

Then the inaugaration on today January 20th 2009 came and made more history. This day is just remarkable. Barack Obama is sworn in to the PRESIDENCY OF THE U.S.



So all day in school we had like no classes. Almost every room had a television in it streaming the inauguration from different channels. It really dawned on me that our lives will change when Barack gave his speech after he was sworn in. Silence filled the whole building as if no one was in it. What a remarkable moment!!!!!

Baldwin Hills Return

Baldwin Hills is returning to B.E.T in January with a new cast. Perhaps the new season will be better than the previous one, even though I enjoyed it a lot.
