One Minute Then The Next.....(Friendships)
The title of this post is self-explanatory. One minute in life you can have something then the next minute its gone. This can go very well for friendships. One minute your my friend next minute your my enemy or if its nothing that bad, one minute your my friend the next minute your my associate. I think one of our greatest fears in life is loosing the ones we care about, mostly friends. When this happens, many of us don't know how to handle it and we start self-mutilation. For better words we start to deprive ourselves from the people we really are. I was watching VH1 soul and I saw what Lisa Left Eye Lopez did to herself by carving Hate into her arm and after a while she did regret it. Self-mutilation is just not worth it, friendships shouldn't take that much out of your dignity away to start hurting yourself. This topic helped me to come up with a quote by "Henry David Thoreau." The quote is "True friendship can afford true knowledge. It does not depend on darkness and ignorance." Think about this quote as you finish reading this post.

V-Day worries...

So Valentines Day is almost there and many of us are faced with problems around this time. We're confused, some of us don't know who to spend our Valentines Day with. Others wouldn't have one cause we treat others like garbage. But most of all what I think the real obstacle is, is getting the right gift. We've prayed and worked so hard for this day and time to come and now that its almost here or here we're stuck. We're afraid that what we may give others they won't appreciate and the other fellar might have done a little better than you. Does that make you less of a person? Not at all. In my perspective, "It's the thought that counts." You crossed my mind so I took the liberty of being kind-hearted and I went out of my way and I got you something. If you don't like it, it wouldn't affect me as much as the thought of me not getting you something. But look at it, the person who always complains they are the people who are always saying "Thank You." Did you ever hear them say "Your Welcome." Thats it for this post. Everyone Enjoy your Valentines Day.

Problems/Obstacles It's Life

I haven't posted in a while yes I know I'm slacking. I've been busy sleeping, you know the thing that people do when they're tired yea that. But anyways I was thinking. Have you ever been mad at something and then you choose not to talk to anyone about it but instead you like to keep it to yourself. Some of us also take our problems and drink it away. We find the nearest resort of a liquid or drug that would intoxicate us to make us feel good and hurt others around us. Others take their problems into their sleep and fall asleep with a lot on our minds. Then we wake up and still nothing had been solved. Thinking about one of these obstacles in life made me look for more quotes and I came up with this one.
"There is a certain degree of satisfaction in having the courage to admit one's errors. It not only clears up the air of guilt and defensiveness, but often helps solve the problem created by the error." -Dale Carnegie
Sometimes the reason we are all miserable in life is because we take things the wrong way. (Notice I say "we are all", no one is perfect we all have a miserable point in our life.) Someone may approach you with something you don't like, and the next minute something that someone would of thought to be friendly turns out to be a brawl creating a feud between the parties. Then when we get mad, we like to take it out on others. We like to intoxicate ourselves like I previously said. We sleep our anger away and wake up and nothing has changed.
In the end, yes we all have problems or for a better choice of words we have tough obstacles in life but its only a part of life. Sometimes talking to people about it and releasing tension helps relieve problems or obstacles in life. Think about it this would allow you to be one step further in enjoying life much better.

Kanye West (positive directions)

I was browsing through some quotes on the internet and I came across a Kanye West quote that I like a lot. The quote says "Keep your nose out the sky, keep your heart to god, and keep your face to the raising sun." When thinking about all of the positive things in life this quotes goes exactly for that thought. This is the type of quote that you can find in everyday life that will keep motivating you to become a better person tomorrow and the day after that. While looking at quotes from Kanye West I came across someone that isn't to familiar to me. The person who wrote the quote is Herm Albright and he said,"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort." This quote can be very true if you think about it, so while I think about it so should you.

Real Eyes Realize Realize Lies
Sometimes believing what others tell us is the fault that we have in life. We tend to think that if someone tells you something its because we want to see you miserable or we envy you. Sometimes what others see is most likely the truth. Something that you cant see for yourself is often what others see and helping you out is what were only trying to do. Mistakes is something we all make and we cant change that at all. We probably make mistakes, but immature mistakes is what kills us and sometimes lives with us for a very long time. Not everyone can see what is going on in their life without help, so cherish the many or few friends that you do have sometimes they can be the only ones who care.

Downpour
Have you ever caught the feeling while doing something that something dumb is about to happen? Then like a minute or two later stupidity walks up. You get the feeling that you want to explode but instead of letting others see your bad side you try your best to keep it together. You feel that if you say something, it might not be the right thing to say for that moment and people might start to think bad about you. Then while stupidity stands there we have the fools that just walk around, finding out about peoples past and just try to bring it to the future to destroy it. Without knowing the true colors of someone they predict what the person may be like because of close encounters and from there on stupidity stands. Somehow we just cant get mad. Its life, perhaps what you have is what someone else has been looking for and its just killing them. The life that you live is to great and their life is the "Downpour." Keeping it together and keeping to yourself is sometimes the last resort.
With that said I looked back in my phone and found one of my favorite quotes.
"'Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt." quoted by Abraham Lincoln

Bittersweet

Today sitting in 5th period English, the teacher quickly made the topic into something I thought was going to be really boring. She wrote on the board "Bittersweet." I thought to myself "oh god here we go again yet another boring period." The 45-55 minutes in that class didn't turn out to be so boring. She explained to the class that something Bittersweet can happen to us everyday and yet we don't notice. Then she gave us the perfect example the "Superbowl." She showed us how a team that was undefeated during their season can have a sweet time and in the last two minutes of the football game they can loose to a team with a record a bit worse than them. That was the Bitter part.
With that said I started looking at more quotes and I found a very interesting one by Allen Iverson. He said "I don't want to just go to the playoffs, I don't want to go to the playoffs and win the first round, second round, and not win the whole thing because it's bittersweet." In football terms thats exactly what happened to the New England Patriots. They expected to go all the way after winning 18 games. As a New York Giants fan though I cant complain. The Giants came out on top with a bittersweet story and I cant complain. They made "Superbowl" history.

Number 1
So I started this blog for many reasons. I realized that I have a myspace, and within that account I have many friends and I'm the type of person that likes to keep quotes and write a lot. Blogging on myspace isn't really the best way to blog, but I see many people make the best of it. My cell phone is like a big part of my life. The amount of stuff in my cell phone would probably be equivalent to about 1/4 of a Harry Potter book and we all know how large a Harry Potter book can be. I see quotes as something that can always be related to life. I like to consider it something like "words of wisdom" Just the words of someone else can always change someones life for the worse of better. "Every step in life counts, its always worth something new." Well this is my first posting I will try my best to push something new for you out here everyday.
